Tatum "Tink" turns 4!

We had Tatum's 4th birthday party and oh what a Halloween Adventure it was! All the kids came dressed in their costumes for an eventful day! We played musical chairs, had an apple bobbing contest along with the parachute and bowling. The kids also took their turns swinging at a Tinkerbell pinata! Did I mention That Tatum was "Tink" ? We enjoyed pizza and a pumpkin shaped cake and ended the afternoon with presents. What a hull she made! I've never seen so many presents! We had such a blast and I couldn't have done it all without lots of help from Nick, my mom & Tony, Melissa and Robin...and everyone else that lent a hand! With about 60 adults and children Nick and I had a thought......next year a combined b-day at the beginning of October for Preston and Tatum! They are both fall babies so this will work great! California Trip! UPDATED! :)

The kids and I headed off to California to visit my family on the Central Coast. We stayed with my grandma along with my parents. My cousin Ashley lives there as well as my cousins Debbie & Codee who we partied with and had tons of fun! Ashley and I took the kids to the beach the first time and then Codee and I the second. The kids loved the beach and this time Preston didn't eat the sand! Tatum loved to build sand castles and get buried! Preston loved to crawl around in the wet sand and by the end splashed in the ocean. We also had a taco at Debbie's and a fabulous BBQ at my Uncle Moe's. We got to meet Sean's girlfriend Rina who Tatum just adores...according to Tatum Rina "sounds like a pretty girl!" We all had fun just hanging out and just being together. One afternoon Tatum told me she was going potty and when she came out she had my grandma's red lipstick all over her mouth! We were also there on Preston's b-day and he had his 1st cake and absolutely loved it! My mom's long time friends Connie and Marie also visited and got to see my kids for the first time. We all had such a blast, it just makes me realize that I need to visit more often! Love and miss everyone.....Grandma, Codee, Debbie, Craig, Sean, Rina, Ashley, Uncle Moe.....THANKS we had such a great time!!!

Schnepf Farms

We all took the kids to the pumpkin festival on Thursday. Tatum had a blast with her cousins, Logan, Shyla & Roch and Hailey! The kids rode all the rides, went through the petting zoo and got to pick out their very own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. This is something that we do every year and this time Preston came with us! The kids were all tired out and took LONG naps in the afternoon. They had a blast!

Preston's 1st B-day Party!

We celebrated Preston's first birthday on Saturday the 27th. We barbecued and had family, friends and neighborhood friends and kids over and the kids jumped in the bouncy. Once again, Preston enjoyed some cake and liked seeing everyone! he didn't care too much for opening presents but of course the wrapping paper was a hit! He was exhausted by the end of the day and so was mom! Tatum most enjoyed blowing out her brother's "1" candle!!!

Bath Time!

Tatum & Preston had their 1st official bath together last weekend and Preston screamed! He wasn't used to sharing toys with his sister but he got the hang of it Tatum of course thought it was the cutest thing ever to have her little brother in the tub with her!

Last Day of Kindergarten

My last day at Anthem K-8 was Thursday September 4th. I completed the Kindergarten portion of my student teaching. I can't believe how attached I got to all the kids and how sad I was to leave. I also can't believe how much they learned in such a short period of time and what great little kids they were to teach. I know more and more each day that the profession I have chosen is what I am supposed to do! The kids made me a goodbye journal that needless to say made my eyes water a little. I look forward to visiting them throughout the year and watching them grow. GO ANTHEM EAGLES! Mrs. Alisa's Kindergarten class-YOU ROCK!

Playdate!

Tatum had a playdate with my other daughter McKay (j/k) a couple weeks ago. The reason I say that is because I absolutely adore McKay! She is in the Kindergarten class at Anthem I am student teaching at. She and Tatum get along very well together and love to play dress up and princesses. I am also quite fond of her lovely mom Heidi who happens to organize the Anthem mom's group!

Convention 2008!

Most of you know that I am a demonstrator for Gold Canyon Candles. I just recently got back from Convention in Phoenix where I had a great time! I learned so many tips on how to take my business to the next level and of course got lots of free and discounted product! Remember my Fall Candle Open house is next Saturday 9/6 at 6pm. I'm looking forward to the holidays and for Gold Canyon to bring me into the season!

Preston Turns 1 next month and we will be celebrating his birthday at our house Saturday September 27th at 1pm. I am pretty sure we will be getting a big bouncer thing for the kids to keep them all entertained as well! I can't believe my little baby will be one...it just seems like yesterday that he was born!
